Friends Play Games #110

Friends Play Games (formerly Games With Friends) is our monthly, inclusive, free and open to the public game playing event at Gamma Space’s new home in the Toronto Media Arts Centre!

Come play video, tabletop and social games of all kinds. Bring one with you, or jump into something unfamiliar when you arrive. We have extra screens and controllers on hand if you need some extra help getting things running.

Friends Play Games has ambassadors from the Gamma Space and Dames Making Games community present to help you get into the game, and will help organize some of the activities. If you have any questions, they’ll be happy to get you sorted out.

Friends Play Games is about the shared social experience and opportunity to play, so bring an open-mind and leave your work at the door.

If you’re a game dev, you’re welcome to bring your work-in-progress games to show and play test. When you’re finished, take some time to process what you observed, and hang out at another game. We have a companion event monthly called Friends Make Games that you and come talk shop and workout ideas with like-minded game devs.

Running for over five years, Friends Play Games is a great way to meet some of Toronto’s game development community and those who support them.
