At this edit-a-thon, artists and members of the public can join in to add and update mural and street art info and photos to Mural Routes’ newly-formatted Mural Map of Canada. Mural Routes will launch its updated Mural Map in May, with a goal to make the online map more user-friendly and allow artists and enthusiasts alike to crowdsource all the data they may need for Toronto’s murals and street art pieces, whether for research, connecting with mural artists, or ensuring proper copyright and compensation is given to murals in public.

These updates of the Mural Map of Canada have been funded through a Toronto Arts Council Digital Incubator grant.
