after a two-month tour around toronto, where now? will end its local tour with an intimate conversation and closing reception.

where now? is a narrative-driven documentary series expounding on what toronto and its residents truly stand to gain — and, of course, lose — in its climb to become an internationally-recognized cultural hub. who reaps the benefits? and who is its first casualty?

taking place on september 19th from 6:30-9pm, sisterhood media will host the artist talkback featuring director amani bin shikhan, producer samah ali, and subjects from the series. folks are welcome to enjoy refreshments, experience the exhibition, and join the talkback discussion about toronto, home, and place-making in our rapidly gentrifying city.

this event is free and in partnership with toronto media arts centre and charles street video. a suggested donation of $5 is encouraged.
