More than 150 buildings across Toronto open their doors over the May 25 – 26 weekend. This year, Doors Open Toronto celebrates 20 years by looking back to the event’s first 20 years and looking forward to the next 20 years!

Tour Toronto’s hub for media art and technology, and view a photography exhibition surveying the history of Queen Street West in our galleries, take a peek behind the scenes of our temperature-controlled film vault housing the largest collection of independent and experimental Canadian film, try interactive VR experiences, meet artists who work in the space, and get a sneak peek of our 210-seat cinema under construction not usually open to the public! Anyone can join hands-on drop-in workshops on game design, projection mapping, directing music videos, preserving film, and more throughout the day.

Plus, as part of the Doors Open Special Projects, come and experience On-Foot, a new virtual walking tour app created by Pop Sandbox. The tour will focus on new developments and histories in Toronto’s Queen West.
