On-Screen Protocols & Pathways

September 7, 9:00 AM

In DMG Workshop

In the Spring of 2019, imagineNATIVE launched On-Screen Protocols and Pathways: A Media Production Guide to Working with First Nations, Métis and Inuit Communities, Cultures, Concepts and Stories. The Guide is for screen storytellers and production companies wishing to feature First Nations, Métis or Inuit people, content or concepts (traditional or contemporary cultures, knowledge or intellectual property) in their films, television programs and digital media content.

This all-day workshop has been specially designed to help companies in the digital and interactive field utilize the Guide in a meaningful way. Learn with imagineNATIVE staff why Indigenous protocols are vitally important, and how the incorporation of the protocols can lead your company to greater creative and artistic heights.

All participants will receive a print copy of the guide to take home.

Those who register before Friday, August 23rd will receive a complimentary Industry pass to the 20th anniversary imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival (Oct. 21-27, 2019).
